Every Omarchy keybinding as a wheel. A key is a spoke and a modifier is a ring: Super alone is the rim, Shift and Ctrl step one ring in, and Alt flips the wheel over. Learn a key once, then add fingers.
Hold Shift, Ctrl or Alt (or tap them) · press any key to find it · ← → ↑ ↓ move · PgUp/PgDn or the buttons change face · / searches · Esc leaves. Shown with Omarchy 4.0.4’s default bindings; in Omarchy it reads yours.
Find the key on the rim, then hold Super for the outer ring. Each extra modifier steps one ring toward the hub, so every version of a key lines up on one spoke: Space runs Menu, Top bar, Background, Theme.
The first command installs the plugin; Omarchy shows you the URL and asks before cloning. The second gives it a shortcut, Super + R, after checking nothing else uses it. Omarchy never runs a plugin's code at install time, which is why the shortcut is its own step. Super is the Windows key on a PC and ⌘ Command on a Mac running Omarchy.
Key Wheel is listed and snapshot-verified on the official Omarchy Plugin Marketplace, where you can copy the same install command.
The wheel is a dial of faces, read live from your own config every time it opens, so it shows your bindings, including the ones you've changed.
Core holds the twelve worth learning first. Further faces hold every other key with a Super binding. Scroll, PgUp/PgDn, or click a dot to turn.
Press S and the wheel turns to the face with S on it. Arrows move around a face; hold Shift or Ctrl to light a ring.
Hold Alt and the wheel flips to the same four rings with Alt added, so every Super combination has exactly one cell.
Press / and type “emoji” or “theme”. The wheel turns to the match; Enter runs it.
Alt + Tab, Print, media keys, and Omarchy's Caps Lock compose sequences: tap Caps Lock, then m s types 😄.
Run any binding straight from the wheel. It goes through Omarchy's own keybindings menu, so it behaves exactly like the real shortcut.
Omarchy plugins run unsandboxed, so here is all of it. Two small files hold the logic; read them before you install.
omarchy menu keybindings --print, Omarchy's compose table, and your ~/.XCompose.bind.sh adds one line to your bindings, only when you run it.MIT-licensed. Built for the Lofi Fren Try Omarchy series, tested on Omarchy 4.0.4. Listed on the Omarchy Plugin Marketplace. Source and issues on GitHub.
